Sodium bicarbonate can be directly used as the raw material of the pharmaceutical industry. In food processing, it is the most widely used loose and leavening agent for the production of biscuits, bread, etc; and for fire-fighting equipment, it can be used to produce acid alkali fire extinguishers and foam fire extinguishers. It also can be used in rubber and sponge production in rubber industry; and used as flux for casting steel ingot in metallurgical industry; In the printing and dyeing industry, it can be used as a color fixing agent for dyeing and printing, an acid base buffer, and a post-treatment agent for fabric dyeing and finishing;
